Our babies are just about two weeks old today. They are well advanced for their age. Ruby's kittens are climbing out of their basket and a few have made it not only out of the basket, but clear to the other side of their room. They cry very loud at that point because they have not yet figured out how to get back "home".
Ruby is a very content mom, very relaxed. We keep her and her kittens in our music room. She welcomes all company and is very proud of her kittens.
Sushi's kittens live in our closet. Sushi likes to play "hide the kittens". Every chance she gets (if we leave the closet door open)she will hide the kittens. She hides them good too. We always do a "kitten count" on her litter and when a kitten is missing we usually find it only because we can hear it screaming.Her babies love our little boy Mattie. He is a bit loud and as soon as they hear his voice they come to him. Even the kittens that don't have their eyes open yet, will crawl over to where he is. Of course, he delights in this. Sushi also is very proud of her kittens.
